Welcome to Tarven self-catering cottage and B&B.
The self-catering accommodation is a modern two bedroom cottage, which has been awarded 4 star status by the Scottish Tourist Board.
In addition, from April 2011, we are now offering 3 ensuite B& B rooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) in the main residency, adjacent to the cottage.
The cottage and B&B rooms offers the best of both worlds, as they are in a secluded location but also within ten minutes walking distance from the centre of Portree, the main village on the Isle of Skye.
The cottage has proven to be a popular destination over the years for those people who wish to explore the island during the day with the option in the evening, to either relax or enjoy the traditional nightlife of Portree. A quick glance at some of the entries from our visitors' book will confirm this.
The pubs, restaurants, shops, swimming pool, children’s play park, harbour area and bus stance are all situated nearby in the village centre.
